How to choose a mini projector

Picture size and distance
The further the projector is from the wall, the larger the picture. Measure the distance from where it will sit to the wall, then check the throw table in the catalogue.
Day or night viewing
Mini projectors look best in a dark room. Living rooms with lots of glass need curtains, or a brighter model for daytime viewing.
Built-in apps
A model with its own operating system and app store streams directly over Wi‑Fi, without a phone or laptop.
Sound
The built-in speaker is fine for small rooms. In a large living room, add a Bluetooth speaker or soundbar.

Open apps for films, videos and football right on the projector.
Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth
Stream over your home network and pair wireless speakers or headphones.
Auto picture correction

Not necessarily. A flat white wall works; a screen gives more even colour and a sharper picture.

Yes, through wireless screen sharing or a cable depending on the model. Most content can be watched directly in the built-in apps.

Can I watch during the day?

Yes, with the curtains drawn to darken the room. The less ambient light, the clearer the picture and the better the colour.
