Two lamp types

  • With housing

Bulb pre-fitted in its housing: slide it in and go. Ideal for schools and offices changing lamps themselves.

  • Bare bulb

Bulb only, fitted into the existing housing. Suited to repair shops with technicians.

Find a lamp by projector model

Enter the model on the projector label or the old lamp code to see the compatible Ipalia lamp and stock status.

Compatible lamps, not original lamps from the projector maker. Send a photo of the projector label so Ipalia can double-check the code before you order.

Can’t find your model?

Send a photo of the projector label and we will reply with the lamp code and price within business hours.

How to choose a lamp

  • Read the projector label

The label under or behind the projector shows the brand and model (e.g. EB-X41). A photo of the label is the quickest way to find the right lamp.

  • Old lamp code

The old lamp housing usually carries the maker's lamp code (e.g. ELPLP97). One lamp code often fits several projector models.

  • Housing or bare bulb

With housing is quick and low-risk. A bare bulb costs less but means refitting the old housing, best left to a technician.

  • When to replace

Dim or discoloured picture, a Lamp warning, or the projector shutting down after a few minutes. Clean the dust filter at the same time.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know which lamp my projector uses?

Check the model on the projector label or the code on the old lamp housing and enter it in the search box. If nothing matches, send us a photo of the label.

Do I need to change any settings after replacing the lamp?

Reset the lamp hour counter in the projector menu so it warns you correctly next time.

Can I replace the lamp myself?

With a housed lamp, most projectors only need the cover opened and a few screws turned. Switch off and let the lamp cool completely first.

What is the return policy for faulty lamps?
